There is something about street food. A quick snack with just the right touch of stark flavours. The playful yet powerful burst of flavours is not easy to achieve. Which is why not everyone can perfect the craft. 

After trying dozens of Chaat places in Houston, I present you with a winner. 

Bansuri on Wilcrest Dr

Bansuri Indian Food Corner. Situated in a nondescript strip mall, this food truck serves not more than ten items, is open only between 6:00 - 9:00 in the evening, Mon-Sat and is always packed with patrons waiting for their orders. Try it, you won't be disappointed. 

Crisscross

Houston is different things to different people. Some see it as home, some may be just passing through and some may find it so comfortable, they may never want to leave. Whichever group you fit into, whatever you take away from here, you can't miss this.

I don't think it is pretty, I don't hate it. But it never fails to amaze me.

A light lunch

Bowl Cafe on Richmond

For all those people who like a light lunch, a salad or a sandwich. Freshly made, not reheated. Served with a smile but not with useless banter. A place to eat while checking emails but not a place for office gossip. A place you can slip into without driving for miles, but not a place everyone frequents. Half the fun comes from choosing what you want from a long list of ingredients.

Holiday Memories

Holiday Inn Resort, Panama City Beach

We have all been there and we have all taken photographs. Long walks on the beach with the sun setting as the backdrop has to be the worst romantic cliche of all time. This particular one was clicked on our most recent holiday. Three bliss filled days at Panama City Beach, where the water is just right and the people in bikinis fat enough so you won't be intimidated.
